Biography
Francesco Polese is Full Professor of Business Management at Business Sciences – Management and Innovation Systems Department the Salerno University of Salerno, Italy.
He is currently teaching:
- “Marketing”, at the Degree Course Economia e Management, curriculum Economia e Gestione delle imprese;
- “Service Marketing”, at the Degree Course Economia e Management;
- “Laboratorio di management”, at the Master Course Consulenza e Management Aziendale;
- “Risk Management”, at the Master Course Data Science and Innovation Management.
Coordinator of the PhD Course in “Big Data Management” (XXXVI cycle), Business Sciences – Management and Innovation Systems Department of the University of Salerno.
He is Director of the inter-departmental Research Center SIMAS (Innovation Systems and Healthcare Management) at the University of Salerno.
He has been co-chair of the 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 editions of the international conference “The Naples Forum on Service: Service-Dominant Logic, Service Science and Network Theory”, and is co-chair of its 2021 edition currently being organized,
His main research interests are Viable Systems Approach, Service Research, Emergence.
He is member of the editorial board of several relevant jounals in this area, such as Corporate Governance and Organizational Behavior Review, American Marketing Science Review, Frontiers in Medicine – section Translational Medicine, Journal of Service Theory and Practice, Service Science.
His articles have appeared in leading international journals, including Journal Business Research, Journal of Service Management, The TQM Journal, Marketing Theory, Journal of Service Theory and Practice, Managing Service Quality, European Management Journal, Service Science.
